The Other Hundred is a worldwide annual initiative that sets out to provide a better understanding of the people who make up our world. Each edition of the book consists of 100 photo-stories focusing on a particular theme, the 2016 Other Hundred Educators questioned the conventional understanding of education and presented the uncelebrated educators of our time. For this edition, Ivan Abreu set out to cover the story of Minas Quad Rugby’s twenty-five members, with a focus on their coaches. Minas Quad Rugby is an athlete team in the Brazilian province Minas Gerais, made up of athletes that either partially or totally lost the use of their torso and limbs, some because of having a degenerative disease, others because of being in vehicle accidents or having been shot.

The Other Hundred project is supported by a number of organisations, including the Asia Society and The New York Times.
